| ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT (Library Directors, Supervisors or Principals) is important for the student readers, teachers, and ibrary professionals in their participation in the Golden Sower Award Prorgram. LIBRARY PROFESSIONALS can support the program with library-centered activities and by aiding participating teachers in their Golden Sower Award efforts. PARTICIPATING TEACHERS can devote time to classroom activities promoting the program knowing the Golden Sower Award aligns with Nebraska Academic Standards. PARENTS can access the Golden Sower Award NOMINEE LISTS and encourage their children's participation. Home School students can participate through their local public library. |
| NO FEE, NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED The Golden Sower Award Program is free. NO FEE should be collected in order to participate. The Golden Sower Committee does NOT require participants, schools or libraries to register. Individual libraries may choose to register readers for their programming purposes. |
| ESTABLISH YOUR PROGRAM PROVIDE multiple titles from the current Primary, Intermediate, or Young Adult NOMINEE LIST for your students to read and review. READ titles from the current nominee list to your patrons or students. Readers must have read or heard at least FOUR nominated titles from a category to be eligible to vote. |
