Fourteen-year-old Toby Magill lives in Hidden Hills, Ohio. He spends his days watching the Food Network, dreaming of one day becoming a world famous chef.
When Toby is offered a job at a new local restaurant called Killer Pizza, he is really excited to develop his culinary skills. Toby gets along well with his coworkers Annabel and Strobe, and he enjoys being part of the Killer Pizza team.
It doesn’t take long for the trio to learn that Killer Pizza isn’t what it appears to be. It isn’t just a new trendy restaurant but a front for a monster-hunting organization and they are the organization’s newest recruits. Making pizza soon takes a backseat as the trio goes undercover, searching for the leader of a gang of monsters who are preying on innocent humans. The problem is that these monsters can alter their appearance so that they look like humans.
